Sync your shows instead of typing them.
If your tour dates live on Bandsintown, Setcraft can pull your shows in for you. Syncing brings in upcoming dates, and a checkbox on the sync dialog also imports your full past show history, so old gigs are in Setcraft ready for their setlists to be entered. New shows get added, ones you already have are left alone, and a past show you typed in by hand gets recognized by its date and venue rather than duplicated. You give Setcraft two things: your Bandsintown artist name and a Bandsintown API key.
Bandsintown hands out the key from your artist account, not from Setcraft. In Bandsintown for Artists, open Settings, then General, and choose Get API Key (or copy the one already there). The key is free and tied to that one artist.
On the Shows page, click Sync from Bandsintown, enter your Bandsintown artist name exactly as it appears on your profile, paste the key, and sync. Setcraft remembers it, so after that, syncing is one click.
