These terms are an agreement between you and Setcraft LLC. They cover how you may use the Setcraft app and what you can expect from us. Please read them. By installing or using Setcraft, you agree to them.
Setcraft is made by Setcraft LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company, located at 5588 East Texas Rd, East Texas, PA 18046. You can reach us at [email protected].
Setcraft is a setlist app for macOS. It runs on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs running macOS 12 or later. It is signed, notarized, and downloaded directly from getsetcraft.com. It is local-first, meaning your data lives on your own Mac.
Setcraft is distributed directly by us, not through the Mac App Store. Apple's only role is Developer ID notarization, so Apple's Mac App Store license terms do not apply to Setcraft.
Installing or using the app means you accept these terms. If you buy a license key, you also accept these terms when you activate it.
Setcraft is licensed to you, not sold. We give you a personal or business, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Setcraft on Macs you own or control, within the activation limits below.
New installs include a free 30-day trial at the Pro feature level: one artist profile, unlimited songs, shows, and setlists, setlist photo import (limited to 5 imports per month during the trial), tech cue sheets, PRO reports, and Bandsintown sync. Sheets printed or exported during the trial carry a light diagonal "SETCRAFT TRIAL" stamp; clean output is part of what a paid license unlocks. The one other paid feature not included in the trial is exporting a portable backup to another Mac; restoring a backup and the automatic on-device snapshots are always available. The trial clock is anchored to a start date recorded on our server against a random per-install token (see the Privacy Policy), so reinstalling the app or changing your system clock does not restart it. After 30 days without a purchase, the app moves to the free tier described below. Nothing you built is deleted.
The free version includes one artist profile, all themes, full setlist building, and PDF and print export. Sheets printed or exported from the free version carry a light diagonal "SETCRAFT FREE" stamp. On the free tier, once your library reaches 15 songs you cannot add new songs, and at or over 15 songs you cannot rename a song's title or short name. A new setlist is capped at 15 songs. Everything already in your library stays fully usable, printable, and exportable, and nothing is deleted. Photo import, Bandsintown sync, tech cue sheets, PRO reports, and portable backup export are off on the free tier.
Setcraft is sold as two one-time, lifetime tiers:
If you own Pro, you can buy a separate Pro to Road Warrior upgrade for about $15. The upgrade unlocks unlimited artist profiles only while a valid Pro license is also active.
Licenses are validated and limited by device seat, with activation counts enforced through Lemon Squeezy. The app re-validates your license from time to time. If a license lapses or is revoked, paid features will downgrade to the free tier, and any additional artist profiles beyond the first are paused until a valid license is active again. You can deactivate a Mac, or choose "deactivate all other computers," to free up seats.
Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, acting as the merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy processes your payment, handles applicable tax and VAT, and issues your license key. For billing purposes, your payment relationship is with Lemon Squeezy.
Prices are in US dollars.
Refunds: you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase.
If you charge back a payment or abuse the purchase process, we may revoke your license.

You own your song data, lyrics, charts, setlists, and notes. Setcraft claims no ownership of any of it. Because Setcraft is local-first, we do not host your content. See the Privacy Policy for the one exception, photo import.
You are responsible for having the rights to any lyrics, charts, cover-song information, or photos you put into the app or submit to photo import.
Setcraft, including its name, logo, and software, is owned by Setcraft LLC and protected by intellectual property law. "Setcraft" is a trademark of Setcraft LLC. The license in Section 3 lets you use the app; it does not transfer ownership.

We are not responsible for the availability or behavior of these third-party services, and these features may change or be discontinued.
The app can check for updates and download and install them through Sparkle, from getsetcraft.com and GitHub. Automatic update checks are opt-in. The app asks once, the first time you run it, whether it may check automatically. Until you agree, it checks only when you choose Help and then Check for Updates, and you can change your answer at any time. Updates are provided under these same terms.
Setcraft is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent allowed by law. This includes implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that photo import or any AI-assisted feature is accurate. It reads handwritten and printed text and can make mistakes, so you should always check its results.
To the extent allowed by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Setcraft in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or data-loss damages.
Setcraft includes local Backup and Restore tools and automatic snapshots, which reduce the risk of data loss but are not a replacement for keeping your own backups.
You are responsible for the content you put into Setcraft. If someone brings a claim against us because content you provided through the app (for example, lyrics, charts, or photos) infringes their rights, you agree to cover the reasonable costs that result. This does not apply to anything caused by us.
These terms and your license end when you uninstall the app, when a license expires or is revoked, or if you breach these terms. On termination, you must stop using paid features. Any data stored locally stays on your Mac and remains under your control.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, and you and we agree to that venue.
If you are a consumer in a place whose laws guarantee you the right to bring claims in your local courts or under your local consumer-protection rules, nothing here takes that right away.
We may update these terms. When we do, we will post the new version on our site and update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about Setcraft. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them, for example in connection with a sale of the business. Neither side is responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control. You agree to comply with applicable export control and sanctions laws.
