Setcraft keeps quiet, automatic snapshots of your data on your Mac: one on launch, and one before anything destructive. If you delete the wrong thing, roll back to a snapshot from the Backup tab in Backstage and pretend it never happened.
Exporting a full backup file, the kind you carry to a new machine, is part of Pro and Road Warrior. It is a plain bundle of your data and chart files, no secret format, no lock in.
Audio attachments are the one thing left out. Recordings stay on this Mac, so re-attach them after moving machines; everything else about the song, its length included, comes across. It keeps the backup file a size you can actually carry.
